Terms of use
Last updated: 4 August 2026 · Version 2026-08-04
These terms govern the use of Nana Cuentos, the app that turns a child’s day into a personalized bedtime story. By creating an account you accept this document and the privacy policy. If you disagree with any part of it, please do not use the service.
The Spanish version is the binding one; this translation is provided for convenience.
1. Who provides the service
2. What Nana Cuentos is
Nana Cuentos generates children’s stories from what you tell it: who takes part, what happened today, and the traits you chose to keep for each child. The text and the illustration are produced by an artificial-intelligence model, and on the plans that include it, so is the synthetic-voice narration.
The service is family entertainment. It is not a certified educational product, nor therapeutic, nor medical or psychological advice. If something about your child’s development or mood worries you, talk to a professional; a story is no substitute for that conversation.
3. Your account
- The account belongs to an adult: you must be 18 or older and legally able to enter into a contract. Children neither create accounts nor purchase.
- By providing a child’s data you declare that you are their parent or legal guardian, or that you have their authorization, and you take responsibility for what you choose to share about them.
- You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for the activity on your account. Tell us if you believe someone got in without your permission.
- You can export your data or delete your account from within the app, at any time, without writing to us.
4. What to expect from AI-generated content
- Stories are not deterministic: the same starting point can produce different stories, and their quality varies.
- They may contain inaccuracies, narrative licence or details that do not match your family’s reality. Read them through first if something about the day was delicate.
- We apply moderation filters to the text you provide and to the generated content, designed for a children’s product. No filter is perfect: if something slips through, tell us — and you can delete the story.
- Illustrations are inspired by the traits you described; they aim for a likeness, not a faithful portrait.
5. What you may do with the stories
- What you provide (the context of the day, the profiles, the reference photos) remains yours. You grant us only the licence needed to host it and generate the story you ask for.
- The stories generated for you may be read, kept, printed and shared with the people around you at no extra cost, for personal and family use.
- Commercial use is not allowed: reselling them, publishing them as your own work on paid platforms, or using them to train other models.
- The app, its name, its design and its brand are ours and are not licensed along with the story.
6. Share links
Sharing a story creates a secret link: it does not appear in search engines, but anyone holding it can open it without signing in and will see the child’s name and a preview of the story. Share it only with people you want to read it; if you change your mind, withdraw it from the app.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use Nana Cuentos to:
- Enter illegal, violent, sexual or hateful content, or anything that puts a child at risk.
- Provide data about a child over whom you have no authority or authorization.
- Try to manipulate the model into producing prohibited content, or to get around the moderation filters and plan limits.
- Access it in an automated way, reverse-engineer it, overload it or resell it.
Repeated attempts to get around moderation are recorded and may lead to limiting or closing the account.
8. Plans and subscription
- There is a free plan with one story a week and a paid plan with more stories and features. The limits in force are shown in the app.
- Subscriptions are purchased and charged through the App Store or Google Play, depending on where you installed the app. We never see or store your card details.
- They renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the period. Cancellation is done in your Apple or Google account subscription settings, not here.
- Refunds are handled by the store under its own policies. We can help you request one, but the decision is theirs.
- We may change prices or what the plans include, giving reasonable notice. A change never affects a period already paid for.
- Withdrawal: because this is digital content delivered immediately, by starting to use the service you agree that performance begins at once and that you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal once it has been consumed.
9. Availability
We work to keep the app available, but there can be outages due to maintenance, incidents or failures at the providers we depend on. We may modify or withdraw features; if we withdraw something significant from a paid plan, we will say so beforehand.
10. Suspension and closure
You can stop using the service and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close it if these terms are breached seriously or repeatedly, particularly regarding children and content moderation. Except in cases of clear abuse, we will warn you first and you will be able to export your data.
11. Liability
The service is provided as is, with the reasonable care expected of a service of this kind. Nothing in these terms excludes the guarantees the law grants consumers, nor our liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence. Beyond that, we are not liable for indirect damage or for the use made of the generated stories.
12. Personal data
What we do with data — yours and your children’s — is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
13. Changes to these terms
If we change something significant we will announce it in the app or by email before it takes effect, and we will ask you to accept it again if the change affects your rights. Each version is identified by its date, above.
14. Governing law
Spanish law applies. If you are a consumer you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence in the European Union and may go to the courts of your domicile. The European Commission also provides an online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
